Highly Immersive Programme Betong District Level 2018: Pecha Kucca for Form 4 Literature Competition. Another innovation in teaching and learning from PPD Betong.
Pecha Kucca is one of the many ways for teachers to assess their pupils' oral proficiency or use it for speaking assessment in the classroom. Pupils will be fully engaged in the production of their project using computer and they will need to collaborate in order to produce 20 slides, set for 20 seconds for each slide. No notes are allowed but only with reference to the pictures on the slides to help them during their impromptu presentation. Interestingly, pupils' soft skills are sharpened as they should be able to fill in the 'gap' during the automated slide transitions.
